At the end of the exit ramp, turn left on to Cummings Street (if you are traveling I-81 North) or turn right on to Cummings Street (if you are traveling I-81 South). Come to the second red light (Cook Street) and Veterans Memorial Park will be directly in front of you on your left-hand side.

Turn left on to Cook Street and take the first right, which is Lt. Billy Webb Avenue, into the parks parking area.

Veterans Memorial Park is within walking distance from Abingdon's famous Martha Washington Inn and Barter Theatre. Also within a few blocks is the William King Regional Arts Center, Virginia Creeper Biking/Walking Trail, antique shopping district, golf course, and numerous restaurants.
